A new Structure from Motion (SfM) dataset comprising well georeferenced, high-resolution topography and orthomosaics for part of the Lost River fault zone, Idaho has been released. The dataset was collected by Dr. Michael Bunds and Christopher DuRoss from May 2015 - May 2016 and covers ~6.1 km of surface rupture from the the Mw 6.9 1983 Borah Peak Earthquake. Point clouds and digital surface models (DSMs) were generated from low-altitude aerial photographs using Structure-from-Motion and multi-view stereo processing. The dataset, "Wellington City, New Zealand 2019" has an average point spacing of over 20 pts/m2 and covers Wellington and its surrounding areas. OpenTopography is pleased to release a structure-from-motion small Uncrewed Aerial System (sUAS) dataset that covers 3 km2 along the creeping section of the central San Andreas fault. This dataset was collected in October 2017 by Michael Bunds and Nathan Toke from Utah Valley University, Chelsea Scott from Arizona State University, and several undergraduate students in Utah Valley University’s Geospatial Field Methods course. The dataset covering Auckland on the North Island was collected August 2016 to August 2018 and covers the following areas: Auckland CBD, Great Barrier Island, Little Barrier Island, North Shore, Waiheke Island, Wellsford, Whangaparaoa, and Whatipu. OpenTopography is pleased to announce the release of two new NCALM lidar datasets. The first is an NCALM Seed Dataset collected for Nate Mitchell at Indiana University, Bloomington. These data were used in a study to measure variations in bedrock cliff morphologies along Boulder Creek, northwest of Salmon, Idaho.
