OpenTopography Subscriptions


OpenTopography provides easy and fast access to high resolution lidar and global topography and powerful processing tools, enabling industry, government, and hobby users to generate and download geospatial products with ease—no specialized software or local computing needed.


Thanks to generous support from the US National Science Foundation, these services remain free to academic users (with a .edu email address). US academic users can simply log in with their institutional email address. K-12 and international academics can request access to data here.

OpenTopography Plus (OT+) is a subscription service that enables one-stop, easy-to-use access to the highest quality lidar topography for the US. High resolution topographic data from authoritative sources such as the U.S. Geological Survey and NOAA are accessible without the need for specialized software or local compute resources, saving you valuable time and money. For users who wish to integrate the OT API into commercial software or who need higher processing limits, we offer Enterprise API keys.
