New LINZ dataset along the Otago, New Zealand coast now available
A new lidar dataset covering approximately 2,185 km2 of coastal Otago, New Zealand is now available on OpenTopography. The dataset was captured between June and October 2021 for the Otago Regional Council by AAM Ltd., with data management and distribution by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand. This dataset is available through an ongoing collaboration between OpenTopography and LINZ that makes OpenTopography the primary distribution platform for point cloud data collected as part of the LINZ national elevation program.
