Tasman South, New Zealand LINZ dataset now availble

A new lidar dataset covering approximately 4,330 km2 of the southern Tasman region in New Zealand is now available on OpenTopography. This dataset has a point density of 14.04 pts/m2 and was captured for the Tasman District Council by Aerial Surveys between 2020 and 2021, with data management and distribution by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand. This dataset is available through an ongoing collaboration between OpenTopography and LINZ that makes OpenTopography the primary distribution platform for point cloud data collected as part of the LINZ national elevation program.
