Canterbury, New Zealand 2016 lidar point cloud datasets available

OpenTopography is pleased to announce the release of a lidar dataset covering about 2,200 km² of New Zealand's Canterbury region. The data were collected in 2016 and 2017 by Aerial Surveys for the Environment Canterbury Regional Council (ECAN). This dataset is available through on ongoing collaboration between OpenTopography and Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), that makes OpenTopography the primary distribution platform for point cloud data collected as part of the LINZ national elevation program.
