A new lidar dataset covering approximately 105 km2 of Hutt City, New Zealand is now available on OpenTopography. Data covers Hutt City and includes Lower Hutt, Naenae, Taitā, Stokes Valley, Eastbourne, Wainuiomata and the surrounding area captured in 2021. This dataset has a point density of 33.84 pts/m2 and was captured for the Hutt City Council by AAM Ltd, with data management and distribution by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand. This dataset is available through an ongoing collaboration between OpenTopography and LINZ that makes OpenTopography the primary distribution platform for point cloud data collected as part of the LINZ national elevation program.
