AGU '12: LiDAR Topography and Geodetic Imaging - Emerging Techniques and Applications

Jun 21, 2012

Representatives from NCALM, UNAVCO and OpenTopography are organizing the following session at the 2012 American Geophysical Union (AGU) in San Francisco, December 3-7, 2012. The abstract deadline is August 8th.

G015: LiDAR Topography and Geodetic Imaging: Emerging Techniques and Applications

Description:
Session will focus on geodetic imaging (GI) technologies, including InSAR, and LiDAR collected from aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, and terrestrial systems. Of particular interest will be presentations concerning the latest developments in instrumentation, processing of observations, and advanced data analysis to achieve the highest resolution and accuracy. Presentations are also invited which focus on the estimation of physical parameters from geodetic imaging, and the synergies achieved by fusion of GI data with other types of observations (e.g. satellite missions). Presentations reporting results obtained using geodetic imaging should demonstrate how advances in GI led to new scientific observations and conclusions.
